A 'HINT' to Increase Inquiries from Joanna Warren Smith

It's Unanimous in Summer Camp Focus Groups!

When I view websites with parents, one of the most important elements is the ease with which they can connect to the camp.  The immediacy of going from 'anonymous' to 'intimate' is critical especially if they have a deal-breaking issue like 'do you serve gluten-free food?'  And it seems that each of today's parents have their own particular 'unique' question to qualify the camp.

If the web inquiry process is long and involved to ask a simple question, parents get frustrated and move to the next camp on their list.

TAKE ACTION NOW!

  • Streamline Your Web Inquiry Format.  Secure the critical basic elements that you need to get the family into your system.  If possible, present it on one screen in an attractive layout that's easy.

  • Consider a Chat Line or Chat Bot.  These immediate connectors rated very high with parents who liked the efficiency.  They did not expect that they would be able to chat 24/7/365 but thought business hours were reasonable.

Please at least take a minute to look at your web inquiry format.  If it's too much, do something about it before the end of the month.

And thank you for all you do for today's kids ... parents continue to be adamant that their children need camp as 'respite' to the crazy world in which we now live.
