Guests on a Go Camp Pro Podcast (Quick Read!)

Thank you for joining us in a recording of one The Go Camp Pro Podcasts!

⌚ It will take us between 45 and 60 minutes to record our episode together If this is your first time on a podcast - it'll all be fine!

Our hosts are here to support you.

We will be recording both video and audio. Search for the name of the show you are on in your podcast app or check out the episode when it is up on the Go Camp Pro YouTube channel.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Important Note

This will be a friendly space! We will not start recording without telling you and if at any point, you would like to start an answer over again... you will be most welcome to do so! (That's why we have such a great editing and production team)

If you feel like you need some extra help to get set up, you can email Travis (travis@gocamp.pro) or text/WhatsApp/call him at 1.519.532.7366 πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

*YOUR TO-DO:

  3. Your mailing address

  4. Any links we can send to our listeners:

    1. best Social Media link

    2. your website

πŸͺ’ What Should You Say?

As we said above, you are welcome to let us know that you'd like to take another crack at answering a question.

We think another great piece of advice in this situation: you don't have to say it all at once.

If you keep your answers pretty short we will give you a chance to answer more or come back with a couple of last points before we wrap up the call.

We encourage you to think of this as a (slightly directed) conversation between folks with a shared interest.

πŸŽ™οΈ Equipment Preparation

If you work in a modern office you likely have all the equipment you need to record with a Go Camp Pro show.

2️⃣The two most important things are to have a quiet space and to have headphones.

The microphone on a Mac computer from the last couple of years is surprisingly good for recording your voice but if you have an older computer (sorry, I don’t know a Windows machine with a good enough, built-in mic). If you have an older Apple iPhone wired headset with a mic that could also work.

If you do lots of video calls or wish to sound as good as possible we suggest a headset with a microphone arm or picking up a separate microphone. This list may give you some ideas.

It'll be fun! We might have some laughs and we'll all share our ideas to try to make summer camp just a little bit easier with each show.
