A 'HINT' with ACTUAL Benefits Packages for Your Camp Staff - Joanna Warren Smith (and Travis)

Effective Summer Staff Recruiting With A Clear "Benefits Package”

Travis’ Note: This blog is based on Joanna’s HINT that came out this week (as well as the GCP Newsletter). She and I worked in November and December to invite submissions of camps’ best “Staff Benefits Packages” to help with your recruiting season.

One thing that I want to add to Joanna’s note: Pro Deals.

Pro Deals, depending on the company are 20-50% off deals on new equipment for folks who work in the Outdoor Recreation industry. They usually require showing a pay-stub or a letter from an employer. Staff will have to individually apply for most of these but some companies will set up an “organization membership number” that you can share with your staff for their application.

Camp staff LOVE good gear and access to cheaper prices for boots/shoes/tents/jackets or even cameras can be an awesome incentive. “Join us at camp and receive access to awesome Pro Deals after your contract starts!”

Camp Pro Deals I love:
(and where to apply for them. *Not all deals are available in all countries 😞)
